According to a new study conducted by home delivery diet brand, Diet Chef, one in three men would prefer to keep silence about their dieting plans. A survey was conducted on more than 600 men in UK, and it was found that around 90% of the men wanted to lose weight but one in three men were not ready to reveal to their friends or family members that they were dieting. Of these, over 25% men said that they don’t want to share their fitness goal with others only because they feel embarrassed to do so, as this clearly shows that men consider ‘dieting’ as ‘something women do’.


2, One fizzy drink a day raises prostate cancer risk

It’s a proven fact that even a single can of sugary soft drink a day could increase the risk of developing prostate cancer in men. As per the study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, drinking 300ml of a fizzy drink a day can raise a man’s odds of developing the dangerous disease of prostate cancer by 40 percent. It is believed that the reason behind this increased risk is because the sugar in fizzy drinks triggers the release of the hormone called insulin, and this in turn would feed the tumors. Hence, it is highly recommended by the experts to substitute fizzy drinks with water or fruit juice.

A new Turkish study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine has come up with a surprising reason to take care of your dental health. According to the research, men who don’t brush their teeth on regular basis are more likely to suffer from the problem of erectile dysfunction compared to those who regularly brush their teeth and maintain a good dental health. Erectile dysfunction is one of the most common sexual problems that affect men. Even, several studies have linked this sexual dysfunction with periodontitis, which is a serious gum infection. So, maintaining a high level of oral hygiene is very much important to have a healthy and a better sex life. For this, make sure that you brush your teeth two times a day, floss daily, and have regular dental checkups.

A survey conducted by a menswear brand named Jacamo, has discovered that the happiest time of a man’s life is around 37, as this is the age when they’ve had some notable career success and started a family. The survey of 1,000 men also found that 37 is the age by which most of the men have attained almost all major life milestones in both their career as well in their personal life, like having a successful career, settling down to a happy relationship, and becoming a parent.
