Hence, as per the claims of plaintiff Google has violated Electronic Communications Privacy Act, breach of contract, breach of contract implied in law, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, unjust enrichment, and declaratory judgment and corresponding injunctive relief.

Any one who have used Google search engine after October 26, 2006 are considered as the eligible class members. You can accept the terms of settlement to sue Google in lawsuit. If you are not interested in class action settlement, then you can exclude yourself before June 24, 2014. You can object in the class action and can ask to speak into the court before the deadline August 8, 2014.

After the approval of court on settlement, $8.5 million fund money will be distributed to nonprofitable organizations like Stanford Law’s Center for Internet and Society, Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society, World Privacy Forum; Carnegie-Mellon, Chicago-Kent College of Law Center for Information, Society and Policy, and AARP Inc. for research and betterment of society.
