Lemon

Lemon fruit is considered as an excellent natural remedy for Dyspepsia. The juice of lemon gets into the stomach and thwarts the formation of acids by attacking the bacteria. It exterminates indigestion by flushing out the acid and other harmful stuffs from the stomach, and thereby it fortifies & promotes a healthy appetite. It helps to remove the accumulated faeces and undigested food residue, and reinstate your health to perfect order. If you are experiencing loss of appetite, upset stomach and sour eructation along with other symptoms of dyspepsia, then try one of these:
  • Warm up a half piece of lemon by sprinkling some salt on it and then suck it; it will easily digest the foodstuff.
  • Mix 1 teaspoon each of lemon juice, ginger juice & ground rock salt in a glass of water and drink for getting relief.
  • Squeeze out the juice of 1 fresh lemon and add it in 1/2 glass of water, and you can add sugar for taste before drinking it.
Carrot

Chewing of carrot raises the saliva and accelerates digestion by delivering the essential enzymes, vitamins and minerals. It also helps to control gas and to strengthen the digestive system. Drink a glass of plain carrot juice or else you can drink the mixture of carrot juice and spinach juice for getting relief from dyspepsia.

Pineapple

Pineapple acts as a stimulant and alleviates many digestive disorders. Consuming a slice of pineapple by sprinkling some salt and ground black pepper on it is very useful in treating this condition. Drinking 1/2 a glass of pineapple juice after a meal is also beneficial.

Buttermilk

Buttermilk is a very simple remedy for dyspepsia caused by consumption of oily & fried things and excess of peanuts. For better results, add rock salt, roasted ground black pepper and ground cumin powder before drinking.

Mint

Mint juice has been valued as a good appetizer and its value can be enhanced significantly by mixing equal quantity of lemon juice and honey. This mixture acts as a very helpful remedy for dyspepsia and gaseous distension of the stomach.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate juice mixed with one tbsp of honey is very helpful for people enduring dyspepsia along with giddiness. As well, pomegranate seeds acts as a stomach stimulant when mixed with a little black pepper powder and rock salt.

Guava

Eating 250 gm Guava after meals is proven beneficial to overcome dyspepsia, bloating and weak digestive power.

Papaya

Consumption of ripen papaya is not only useful in treating the dyspepsia, but also helps to alleviate constipation and bleeding piles.

Cumin seeds

Take roasted cumin seeds, pepper, dry ginger and rock salt in same proportions, mince and mix them. Take one spoon mixture with warm water 3 times a day.

Radish

Consumption of salt and black pepper sprinkled radish along with your meal up to 2 months will help in treating indigestion problem.

Tomato

Consuming a tomato by sprinkling some salt and ground black pepper on it is also proven beneficial in treating indigestion.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek leaves and fenugreek seeds both are equally beneficial in the treatment of dyspepsia. Around 50 grams of boiled and butter fried leaves are helpful in calming biliousness.

Grapes

Grapes are considered as light food and this fruit is shown advantageous in curing dyspepsia and stomach irritation in a short time.

Onion

Squeeze lemon juice on the slices of red onion and eat with meals.

Cloves

Take 2 clove buds, grind them, put in half cup of boiling water and simmer for 2 minutes. Cool the mixture and take three times daily for treating the indigestion.

Neem

Take 25 gm neem leaves, 3 black peppercorns & 3 cloves, grind all together, and add little sugar. Drink 3 times a day, by stirring well in little water every time.

Cinnamon

Mix equal amounts of cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds & ginger power, and grind all together. Take half teaspoon of this mixture with warm water.

Holy Basil (Tulsi)

Chew 20 tulsi leaves along with 5 black peppercorns after meal for proper digestion.

  • Consuming a piece of Ginger after each meal aids to thwart dyspepsia problem.
  • Consumption of Banana after each meal is helpful to overcome dyspepsia problem.
  • Using Asafoetida (Hing) or Garlic while preparing meals is also valuable to trim down dyspepsia.
  • Eating Gooseberry (Amla) everyday aids to avert dyspepsia.
  • Consumption of aniseed (Sauf) after each meal is proven effective in curing dyspepsia.
  • Use of Sweet neem leaves everyday in cuisine helps to conquer dyspepsia.
  • Taking a piece of Jaggery or Cardamom after meals is useful to beat indigestion problem.
