Belviq becomes the first federal-approved prescription drug for weight loss in 13 years and is expected to enter the U.S. market in the next decade. This drug got approval from FDA so it seems to be safe enough and called as a new weight-loss treatment by doctors. This pill is for adults, who are overweight or are obese and have at least one medical complication, like high cholesterol or diabetes.
